#AskAnAthlete launched

Ever wondered what athletes do when they’re off camera?

Have you ever wondered what athletes do when they’re off camera?

Are they superhuman even in their down time or are they just like us?

Scotland’s athletes are preparing to perform on the world stage again throughout 2019, and we at sportscotland will be out across the country interviewing these extraordinary people and finding out what makes them tick.

Which is where YOU come in.

What would you like to #AskAnAthlete?

It can be anything from the food they eat to the telly they watch to the role models they look up to. We are looking for questions that we can pose to athletes as they prepare for a major event, such as the FIFA Women's World Cup in June 2019, before creating a series of videos to run via social media.

The authors of the questions that make the cut could have their names featured in the videos ... some of which you can see below.

Find out more

Follow #AskAnAthlete on social media - tweet or comment with your questions to be in with a chance of seeing YOUR question being asked! And stay tuned to @sportscotland to see the results!
