More than 170 sports professionals gathered in Dunblane on 6 and 7 June for the 2018 sportscotland High Performance Conference.
The theme of the conference was ‘Time & High Performance Sport: 1998-2018,’ marking the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Scotland’s first institute of sport.
Keynote speakers included Dame Katherine Grainger, chair of UK Sport, Mark Stevenson, Chloe Combi and sportscotland director of high performance Mike Whittingham (pictured).
A wide range of workshop topics ranged from concussion guidance to mobile brain wave innovation.
Mark England, chef de mission for British Olympic Association, ran a session on Tokyo 2020 planning while UK Sport contributed workshops on sports intelligence and integrity, culture and wellbeing.
Euan Burton (pictured), flagbearer for Team Scotland and gold medallist at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, presented on the transition from athlete to head coach.
Many of the delegates came from sports governing bodies, other partner organisations and the sportscotland institute of sport.
Here is how some delegates shared their #HPC2018 experience on Twitter:
