The Year of Young People is coming to an end and what a year it was!
We celebrated many successes, great moments and amazing achievements.
We kicked off the year with the Year of Young People Awards gala organised in collaboration with Scottish Sport Futures, followed by the National Lottery funding allocation to 37 heritage, community and sports organisations across Scotland.
We celebrated the launch of the 4th Young People’s Sport Panel with 19 amazing people working together to create change in Scottish sport.
We welcomed young leaders into the Lead the Way conference at Hampden Park to speak about how they can make an impact.
We are focused on developing young people as leaders in sport because they are key to the future sustainability of the sporting system.
